So what do you do?  Marketing coordinator for the NE district of an international engineering/ construction firm.

Kids names:  No kids, no pets, just DH and me for 20+ years.  We have two nieces and a nephew we adore - one niece and the nephew live close by, so we see them often.

When I have time, I enjoy:  Reading, working out, walking for fun and leisure as well as exercise, dining out. I also love professional football - actually I love the New England Patriots and try not to miss their games on TV, but I'll watch most NFL games.

Favorite ways of keeping fit (form of exercise, eating plan, etc.): Walking everywhere, treadmill, exercycle, weight machine and freeweights for targeted workouts.

Has fitness/healthy living always been a part of your life?  Give a little background:  I started working out seriously to keep controllable health problems (high blood pressure, cholesterol) from turning into major difficulties later. Family health history demanded I make some changes.  My husband has always been an exerciser, but some similar middle-age health issues from poor food choices began to catch up to him, so we're on this good health trip together.

When did you start posting here, and what keeps you coming back?  I joined the board in June 2002.  I was looking for a place where I could get ideas/thoughts/ plans/inspiration to start getting fit. Now, I'm fitter, and even better, I have a wonderful bunch of friends that I never would have had the opportunity to know but for the Internet.
