Favorite
ways of keeping fit (form of exercise, eating plan, etc.):
Yard work, riding my bike, walking (mostly on the beach). Hope to get to
boogie board again eventually and get back into Pilates.
Has
fitness/healthy living always been a part of your life? Give a little
background: I was
always athletic and an outdoor person. I cheered in school and lettered
in softball and basketball. Always loved to swim and have been riding waves
since I was 10 until the last two summers. I took tap, ballet, acrobatics,
and pointe as a young child and just ballet after I got older. I played
a number of other sports in school and at home. I enjoy manual labor, particularly
gardening. Some injuries have somwhat limited what I can do now, but I'm
doing better lately. |

When
did you start posting here, and what keeps you coming back? I
was a CL on the Pilates Board, and we were assigned to be Secret Santas
with other CL's. Mine was on the FOF board, so I went over to it to send
him posts about it. I read some of the other members' posts and liked what
I saw, so became a member myself. The friendship and support, the ability
to talk openly about almost anything, the humor, caring, and unique bond
we've formed keep me coming back. |
