Screen Name:  Suzen234
First Name:  Susan, aka "Chicago Susan"
I live in:  Illinois
Birthday (Mo/Day):  September 26th
So what do you do?  I am currently a SAHM (hardest bosses I've ever had.) I quit my full-time job as an accounting manager after my first daughter was born. Up until about 1 1/2 years ago, I worked part-time for a small public accounting firm which I will probably go back to when my children get older.

Husband/SO Name:  Jerry
And what does *he* do?  Trader/Asst Vice President for a major international bank.

Kids names:  Amanda, age 9, and Brittney, age 3.

When I have time, I enjoy:  Scrapbooking, Genealogy, Gardening and The Firm Believer's Web Site.

Other iVillage areas you can find me:  The Firm Body Sculpting Board and on occasion the Crohn's & Colitis Board.

Favorite ways of keeping fit (form of exercise, eating plan, etc.): I have a vast collection of home fitness videos.  My favorites are The Firm and step aerobics.  I just recently added Pilates and on occasion, I will get on my treadmill.

Has fitness/healthy living always been a part of your life?  Give a little background: I have exercised on and off for most of my adult life. I was always skinny as a child but as the years and the pounds crept up, exercise was used primarily to maintain or lose weight.  I did mostly aerobics up until about January 2004 when I realized I needed to add strength training if I really wanted to be fit. Now exercise is not only about weight management but it is also about being healthy.

When did you start posting here, and what keeps you coming back?  I started posting here about two months ago (Feb/Mar 2005). I was snooping around the iVillage fitness boards one day and found this one. I liked that the board was very active, both in posting AND physical activity.

Behind every good woman
is a good man!  DH Jerry.
